RUSAL says Jan–March aluminum output falls 0.8% to 932,000 tns
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s UC RUSAL aluminum production shrank by 0.8% on the year and 1.9% on the quarter to 932,000 tonnes in January–March, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Sales of primary aluminum grew by 5.3% to 962,000 tonnes in the period with the average sale price increasing by 13.5% to U.S. $2,116 per tonne. As compared with the same period of 2020, the average price rose by 9.1% in January–March.
